Crocheting Scarves

A couple of weeks prior to school being dismissed, an email was sent out to staff by one of our teachers who is in charge of the crochet club. She said they’re planning to go to a senior home to teach the elderly there how to crochet, so students may need volunteers to practice teaching to, prior to the nursing home visit. So, I decided to go and after just a couple of Tuesdays, with the help of a two students and this teacher, I’ve been able to spend my days at home making scarves. One for my daughter, one for my wife, her son, and niece.
I’m saddened to think the trip to teach the elders is postponed as is school for the time being, but know the opportunity will arise again, and I’m getting lots of practice now.😊
